Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a non-invasive alternative to the traditional facelift. By placing temporary, dissolvable sutures beneath the skin in specific areas, PDO threads allow us to tighten and lift the skin; revitalize aging tissue; and stimulate collagen production. After about six months, the sutures are naturally absorbed into the skin, so there’s no need to have them removed.
During your consultation, Nurse Gemavie will perform a global face and neck evaluation to determine which areas to treat and which type of threads to use. She’ll also help set and manage expectations; and recommend any additional treatments she believes will create facial harmony; complement your PDO threads; and expedite your results.
FREE!Rather than surgically removing loose skin, PDO threads suspend and gently pull back portions of sagging tissue to create a subtle yet visible lift. Each treatment is tailored to your specific areas of concern.
$150/ThreadTreatment InstructionsAs we age, collagen production decreases in both quality AND quantity — a big contributor to aging skin. Strategic placement of PDO threads in the lower face where wrinkles and skin laxity are present triggers the body’s healing process. In an attempt to dispel the sutures and heal the areas around them, collagen production surges, gradually improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other age-related changes in the lower face.
$150/ThreadTreatment InstructionsPDO threads are also used to address age-related changes on and around the neck, like sagging skin and an undefined jawline. They serve as a perfect, non-surgical alternative to the traditional neck lift, which requires 2-3 weeks of recovery time.
